Design solution for LED lights in RV: solving difficulties and optimization solutions for user feedback
Side illuminated design to avoid light spots and enhance aesthetics
According to user feedback, the original RV LED lights may show spots during lighting, which affects the overall aesthetics and lighting effect. To address this issue, we have redesigned the product by using side lighting to hide the LED light source, and added components such as reflectors, light guides, and diffusion plates to achieve a balance of the light emitting surface, thereby eliminating light spots and improving aesthetics.
2. New power supply balance scheme to avoid damage to LED lights due to high voltage
Another user feedback issue is that the voltage is too high during car startup, often leading to LED light necrosis. To address this issue, we have redesigned the shell of the LED light and added a new power balance solution at the bottom of the product. When the input voltage is too high, the control board will limit the voltage to 12V to ensure that the LED light will not be damaged due to instantaneous high voltage. We now offer a wide voltage input of 10-30V, which can be applied in various scenarios such as automobiles and ships (new casing designs may be required).
We believe that through these redesigns and optimization solutions, our RV LED lights will be more stable, aesthetically pleasing, and suitable for a wider range of scenarios. If you have any questions or needs, please feel free to contact us.
