Explanation of Two LED Linear Lighting Schemes

Advantages and disadvantages of hard light strip linear scheme and flexible silicone linear scheme,

The linear lighting scheme refers to the point lighting method of LED with a linear and unconventional emitting surface for down or spot lights.

Linearity is a visual form element that exists in real life or art works. With the development of society, people can have higher requirements for their living and working environment. Linear lighting schemes are gradually integrated into daily environments with the development of society. Today, we will introduce the advantages and disadvantages of two commonly used linear lighting schemes.

Led linear lighting schemes are mainly divided into hard strip linear schemes and flexible silicone linear schemes:

Hard light strip linear scheme: This linear scheme mainly consists of an aluminum groove and an acrylic cover, with LED light strips installed inside the aluminum groove. Due to the characteristics of its material, it is mainly applied to the ground, walls, and chandeliers. The installation method is mainly embedded installation, and installation slots need to be made before installation. After installation, the luminous surface should be aligned with the installation surface. The internal light source of the LED hard light strip is mainly composed of 2835 and 2216 SMD beads. This small volume SMD bead can better create light line effects when installing small lines.

Advantages: The material has high hardness, and the shape is mainly straight, suitable for various scenarios.

Disadvantages: Not suitable for curved installation surfaces, difficult to process and bend, and complex to process in curved shapes, requiring waterproofing treatment

Main application scenarios: shopping mall floors, walls, ktv styling, wardrobes, bookcases, etc

Flexible LED silicone linear solution: This linear method mainly consists of an extruded shell made of flexible silicone material wrapped around the LED light strip, with a size of 3 * 6mm. Silicone material has strong plasticity, and various shapes can perfectly adapt to various installation requirements.

Led silicone flexible light strip is mainly made of dual color silicone, with an opaque part used to block light, and a translucent milky white emitting surface. There is a cutting window on the back, which can accurately see the cutting line of the internal LED light strip when cutting the length during installation, making it convenient to cut the length.

The cut light strip needs to be sealed with adhesive plugs to prevent water ingress during subsequent use.

LED patch beads are mainly 2835 • 5050 • 3535. When using colored or addressable LED light strips internally, silicone can choose a black shell to replace the colored shell, making the overall effect more outstanding.

Advantages: Silicone material has high flexibility, easy to create multiple shapes, built-in waterproof function, convenient processing, and simple installation and operation.

Disadvantage: Low hardness, not suitable for installation with large luminous surfaces

Main application scenarios: complex luminous shapes, electronic devices, household appliances, luminous characters, signs, etc

Gosens mainly produces LED light strips with high color rendering index, which can provide a more comfortable and warm communication environment for family members in home lighting environments without main lights. In commercial lighting, products with high lighting requirements are also very commonly used. Helps to enhance customers' perception of the original color of the product.
